As part of the 55th anniversary of Earth Day, EARTHDAY.ORG, the world’s largest environmental movement, has awarded its 2025 ‘Our Power. Our Planet’ award to Envision Racing, the Formula E team that is focused on bringing awareness to climate issues and driving action to reduce.
Miami, FL. April 15, 2025: Envision Racing has been at the forefront of advancing renewable energy solutions, e-mobility and environmental advocacy, using the global platform of Formula E to drive real-world climate action. This award recognizes the team as Ambassadors of E-Mobility.
Sylvain Filippi, Team Principal of Envision Racing, comments: “It’s a true honor to receive such a renowned award from the world’s biggest environmental movement. Our team’s key mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and drive real change. It’s great to be recognized for our efforts by such a credible organization.”
This award comes just after it was announced that Envision Racing retained its three-star level FIA Environmental Accreditation - the highest level of environmental sustainability recognition from the sport's governing body.
In 2025, Earth Day marks its 55th year with a call to action: to triple the global generation of clean electricity by 2030. EARTHDAY.ORG is urging governments, businesses, and individuals to make smart energy choices that will accelerate the transition to renewable energy and secure a sustainable future for all.
To spotlight e-mobility innovation and the role of green technology in shaping a climate-resilient future, Envision Racing hosted an official Earth Day event as part of the Formula E team’s Race Against Climate Change campaign.
This invitation-only event held in Miami brought together top executives, industry leaders and government representatives to foster global partnerships for climate solutions.
Kathleen Rogers, President of EARTHDAY.ORG, stated: "The event was held in the lead up to the Formula E Round 5 race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where Envision Racing showcased its leadership in sustainability and innovation on a global stage."
